Its location, privileged even being in third line of sea, marks both the form and the strategy of implementation: it is a fully consolidated area, also for many years, where virtually this plot is the only free site of the place. The surrounding houses repeat the model adopted in previous decades as “Mediterranean style”, with marked circular forms in its most unique elements, sloping roofs of Arabic tiles and repetition of certain elements that became ornamental, such as arches, dry stone walls and balustrades. The aim of this action is to integrate the new house into the environment, both in the physical implementation on the ground, excavating part of the mountain, and aesthetically, working with a language that refers to the forms and resources of existing architecture, but from a contemporary prism. In fact, the roof of the new house is made of Arabic tiles, as the regulations require, although it is only visible from the top.
The Inside of the house is developed in basement, first floor, in which is located a room and the day area, and second floor, where the rest of rooms are concentrated. The main access, on the first floor, has a double height space that houses the staircase and has as a replica another double height space in the living room area, visible from the second floor corridor, whose point of view allows to frame perfectly the landscape, the sea, framed by the curved pergolas.
