Catching the wind
The first feeling you get when visiting a plot for the first time usually marks the evolution of the project. In this case it was like that, and the element that made the development of this house fundamental was the wind.
Sometimes it is convenient to pay attention to what someone called “the essential joys” and try to catch them, to welcome them. The sinuous forms of the house seek this, to welcome the wind, in function and form, as well as helping to divide the views into two sequences, compartmentalizing and marking the core of communication.
The process of entering this house is a faithful reflection of the attempt to capture everything essential, from the open exterior guided by the natural stone of the land, through a double height semi-covered that filters the sun until reaching the interior, from where thanks to the glass panels we can appreciate the goodness of the landscape, with the predominance of the infinite sea.
